Acid Dilution & Cooling Unit

A large amount of exotherm is generated after dilution of Sulphuric Acid. Based on the concentration of dilute acid, the temperature of acid after Dilution reaches above its boiling point.

Corrox Remedies offers Online Acid Dilution & Cooling Unit operated under positive pressure to suppress the boiling of Dilute Acid. The unit consists of skid mounted Graphite Mixer (with suitable Non-Return Valves) to mix the concentrated Acid (say 98% H2SO4) with DM Water and a Graphite Cooler (Block type or Shell & Tube type) to cool the dilute acid up to desired temperature. The heat of exotherm is removed using Cooling Water on the Utility side of the Graphite Cooler.
