Graphite Shell & Tube Type Heat Exchangers
Functions
- Heat is transferred through the graphite tubes
- Graphite tubes are encased in metallic shell & both ends are cemented with graphite tube sheets to form tube bundle
- Inlet & outlet end chambers can be designed as per the process requirements
- Differential coefficient of thermal expansion is taken care with the tightening springs

- Cooling and heating of corrosive media
- Forced circulation, natural circulation and falling-film absorbers & evaporators
